When the snow fell heavily in Essex before Christmas, I wrapped myself up and took my camera and my very cold fingers over to Essex University to take a few shots of the snowy grounds late afternoon. It was bright but freezing and by the end of the afternoon (which admittedly included some slipping around and colourful language ) I had to abandon the trip due to my battery giving up.

Last week I spent a few day’s in Sussex, click on the image below to see my other shots of Brighton. It started off very grey and misty but the weather improved so the next day with walking boots on, a map in hand and a large pouch of tobacco I took a long walk along the South Down way. What a wonderful place, the sun shone and everyone I passed on the hillside seemed to have a smile….more pics will be posted up over the next few day’s.
Shelley and Toby were married in St Mary’s Church in Wivenhoe ( Essex ) which is situated in the town near the waterfront. Another sunny summer’s day which meant we were able to take some shots on the Quay.
On Wednesday 9th July Talia Jane Leggett was born at Colchester General Hospital. Overdue and taking her time to make an appearance she finally made a big entrance Wednesday morning weighing in at a very respectful 7lb 15oz. The name Talia comes from the Hebrew origin. In Hebrew the meaning of the name Talia is: Dew of heaven.
Congratulations to Samantha and Daniel, Hope is very excited about being an Auntie again. xx
Here are a few pics of Talia just a few hours old :
