So lovely to receive my copy of Wedding flowers & Accessories Magazine with my flower pics on the front cover and the flower book at the second half of the mag.
Sometimes people want to have their picture taken and have a copy of the print on the day at the event, no messing around with trying to find your image on a gallery or other website and then ordering it a few days later. So we now attend corporate events and charity balls and offer an instant print service for our clients who want to offer their guests a little something extra. Of course you get the same superb service and attention to detail you just get it quicker! For more info please email us at pictureourevents.co.uk
Here are some images from a recent assignment with the delightful and amazingly talented Nicholas McCarthy, he needed some pictures quickly as Nargis magazine were doing a feature about him and wanted a shot for the front cover and also some images to sit alongside the article. We arranged a shoot at my studio one evening and took a series of images which the magazine later went on to use. Nic was born without a right hand and was the first left hand only pianist to graduate from the Royal College of Music in London in its 130 year history. Here are a few of my favourites from the shoot.
The image below is the one they used for the front cover of Nargis Magazine
Summer is a busy time of year for most togs, so it was really nice to take a few hours off and spend it with my friend and fellow tog Jacqui Mellor. We decided to experiment with taking each others portrait in my studio on Friday.
Here are some of the shots taken by Jacqui of me…
I was delighted when Livability asked me to take pictures of HRH Princess Anne visiting Treetops in Colchester. Livability work with disabled and disadvantaged people to promote choice, independence and opportunity. The charity Livability are trying to raise £190,000 for new equipment in their bathrooms and kitchens of their residents.
Below you can see me in action, I accidentally photo bombed another press photographer…
Oakley Wine Agencies were looking to have some pictures taken to celebrate their 25 years of being in business. They needed the images to accompany various articles and editorials in the industry magazines and blogs.
Some of my clients put off having a photo shoot because they are nervous, nervous about what is involved. They are worried about posing, insecure about certain parts of their body, unsure as to what to expect, and may have fears about how their images are shared and the confidentiality of the shoot.
It is completely natural to have all of these concerns, and it is my job as your photographer to reassure you and put your mind at ease. I always welcome people to visit me at my studio to talk through any concerns and never put anyone under any pressure to commit to a photo shoot if they are not sure.
Please contact me at email@example.com to arrange a visit to my studio to talk about Wedding, Boudoir, Family or Corporate Photography. I make a great cuppa and am always happy to chat and show people my albums, my work and the studio.
