If I ever get to a point when I am struggling with my mobility I am going to get me one of these beauties. It was a pleasure to shoot this scooter and find out more about Britannia Mobility in Colchester. John Waterhouse inspired portraits

I remember standing and staring in awe at the ‘The Lady of Shalott’ when I saw it years ago in a London gallery. It’s a picture I had on my wall when I gave birth to my daughter at home, it’s one of those pictures which has stayed with me through my life. I have always loved the softness of the colours the mystery and the femininity shown in paintings by John Waterhouse. Here are some recent portrait images I took at my studio which were definitely inspired by his beautiful art.

In her hair she has red berries almost like a crown. Her expression is one of innocence and at the same time strength. Holding herself tall she appears to have a quiet confidence.
