One of the good things to come out of this strange and worrying time is that I have had time to focus on one of my websites and with fantastic IT support from Tony Merryfield I have created a new site for The Family Photographer. CORONAVIRUS INFO: My studio is currently still open, however because of the recent government recommendations if you have a shoot booked with me and would prefer to defer your shoot to another date you are free to do so.
For clients who still wish to go ahead I would like to reassure you that I am taking the following precautions for each shoot.
1) Not shaking hands on arrival
2) Washing my hands between each shoot
3) Disinfecting door handles after each shoot
3) Maintaining the recommended 1 meter distance from other people
Apparently these days you only have 15 seconds before your potential customers leave your website. That’s why professional photography for you, your website and your products is important to make you stand out from your competitors. I remember standing and staring in awe at the ‘The Lady of Shalott’ when I saw it years ago in a London gallery. It’s a picture I had on my wall when I gave birth to my daughter at home, it’s one of those pictures which has stayed with me through my life. I have always loved the softness of the colours the mystery and the femininity shown in paintings by John Waterhouse. Here are some recent portrait images I took at my studio which were definitely inspired by his beautiful art.
