Schools Prom – Colchester, Essex.

They still sung brilliantly despite the fact that The Colne Community School Choir had some of their members missing because they had to participate in a Dance exam which took place the same evening.

Led by Geoff Osborne ( Head of the Music Dept at the Colne Community School ) and Alison Benz singing coach Colne Fusion performed alongside other schools from Essex in Colchester’s Colne Round Table Schools Prom at The Charter Hall, Colchester.

Wivenhoe Pantomime Group – "Ali Baba"

The Wivenhoe Panto Group will be performing Ali Baba at William Loveless Hall in Wivenhoe from Tues 19th Jan – Sat 23rd, 7.30pm start ( Matinee on Sat 2.30pm). Tickets are available from both of the Wivenhoe Post offices. More pictures to follow….

So you think you've got talent? – Brightlingsea Talent Show 09

Held at Brightlingsea Community Centre, the old and young presented their talents on stage.  A  fun packed evening full of British eccentricity and entertainment.

Wivenhoe May Fair

The Wivenhoe May Fair is a community-based festival, run by volunteers of all ages, that supports local music, crafts and performing arts and raises money for local, national and international charities. This year the weather was mighty fine and people of all ages, shapes and hairstyles came to sit in our park and soak up the festival atmosphere. It is hard to take pictures when you have a beer in one hand and a roast chicken leg in the other, but I managed to struggle through….

7th Note

‘7 th Note’ are made up of local musicians Alex Moss ( Guitar, Piano and vocals ) and David Andrews ( vocals and knee tapping ). They perform gigs in and around East Anglia singing covers but also producing their own stuff. As well as performing at pubs and clubs in the area they also enjoy playing at Weddings and Corporate events.
