The ultimate Wedding day package

As part of one of my Wedding day photography packages I include the service of a Make-Up artist. One of the people I work with is Alison Cameron . It is hard for one to get a sense of how gifted this woman is without seeing her face to face and seeing the results of her work. I am absolutely delighted to have Alison on board she has had extensive experience with Brides from all over the world, she was trained by MAC ( London ) and will use MAC Cosmetics for your session.

Alison offers a Make-up trial to create your chosen look and then on your Wedding day will travel to your home or hotel and provide a calm and professional service  ensuring you are absolutely happy with the result which will be your own stunning Bridal look.

Please take a look at her work and book your Wedding with us now to avoid disappointment – http://www.alisoncameronmakeup.com/

Essex University

When the snow fell heavily in Essex before Christmas, I wrapped myself up and took my camera and my very cold fingers over to Essex University to take a few shots of the snowy grounds late afternoon. It was bright but freezing and by the end of the afternoon (which admittedly included some slipping around and colourful language  ) I had to abandon the trip due to my battery giving up.

The night is darkening round me

by Emily Jane Brontë

The night is darkening round me,
The wild winds coldly blow;
But a tyrant spell has bound me,
And I cannot, cannot go.

The giant trees are bending
Their bare boughs weighed with snow;
The storm is fast descending,
And yet I cannot go.

Clouds beyond clouds above me,
Wastes beyond wastes below;
But nothing drear can move me;
I will not, cannot go.

Christmas shopping in Colchester, Essex.

I recently met up with the Wivenhoe Photography group and we decided to go into town to try and capture people out shopping. We met up and all separated in different directions, when you point a camera straight at someone you tend to get a mix of reactions, some people look unhappy about it and avoid you, others move in closer and positively pose…please click on the link to see my other shots.http://www.pbase.com/wakelin/colchester_town Thanks for looking.
