I just wanted to do a little shout out for my studio space in Colchester which I love to hire out to other togs both amateur and professional oh and also students or keen young people.

Its a great space which has four Bowens lights, lots of light modifiers and props, there is also heating, a toilet downstairs and parking beside the building.

At only £25 p/h (min 2hrs hire) I try and make it as affordable as possible for others to use the space and practice their photography skills.

I always test the lighting set up on myself before I see a client, this morning I was setting up for two clients coming in for a portrait shoot. This image is taken from one of my test shots whilst tweaking the lighting…

So I drank one too many Vodkas on Saturday after hearing the news of another the lock down. I knew it was coming but still felt surprised when it was announced, so now like everyone else I have come to terms with the fact that I can’t do anything about it and just have to make the best of the situation like last time but still it’s so arrrrgggghhhh!
