Here is a sample of music products I photographed for RATstands company website. The products were shot in the studio against a white background, then cut out onto a transparent background with a subtle shadow added. I also zoom in to each image to tidy up finger prints, dust and any scratches or marks.

Even my white cotton jewellery gloves (which I wear to handle products) didn’t feel clean enough to handle this watch! I made sure that every time I took it out of its box to have something soft and cushioned to place it on. I knew the value of the watch and felt a huge sense of responsibility during the shoot, I’m so glad its gone back to where it belongs.

I was asked to photograph a second hand watch to be listed on a luxury watch auction site. The watch has never been worn so the plastic protective cover was still over the face and buckle of the watch. The vendor wanted to keep these in place so that any buyer can clearly see that the watch has never been worn.

I had a little helper with me in the studio last week. I have been so busy with shooting products recently I have really fallen behind posting anything on social media, so she did this little thing…

It was nice to have a break but we are pleased to be back, hope you all had a good Xmas wishing everyone a happy and healthy new year.

If I ever get to a point when I am struggling with my mobility I am going to get me one of these beauties. It was a pleasure to shoot this scooter and find out more about Britannia Mobility in Colchester. Furkan is passionate about offering a really good service to his customers and seems to go out of his way to make sure they get exactly what they need.

So I drank one too many Vodkas on Saturday after hearing the news of another the lock down. I knew it was coming but still felt surprised when it was announced, so now like everyone else I have come to terms with the fact that I can’t do anything about it and just have to make the best of the situation like last time but still it’s so arrrrgggghhhh!
